Like many good stories, it all started with a horse (three horses actually). I moved from Texas to the Southeast with my three horses in 2015. While there are bugs in Texas, I was not prepared for the plague worthy levels of bugs that call the Southeast home. My horses did not handle it well and were constantly having skin issues. Fly sprays either did not work or caused my horses to break out in hives until I discovered the Fly Off My Horse all natural formula. It was magic. It worked, and my horses’ skin did not react to it. Suddenly I did not need an entire pharmacy of ointments and medications to get through bug season. Making a long story short, in 2023 my farrier, who also loves the fly spray, convinced me to start selling it, and Fly Off My Horse, LLC came to be in the spring of 2024. We aren’t stopping with fly spray though. We now offer Equine Insect Repellent Ointment and several great insect repellent products for people. We continue to listen to our customers to develop new products to fit our customers’ needs.
